Securitas (Stas)

Securitas Transport Aviation Security Ltd. (STAS), a member of the Securitas Canada Group, was established with the acquisition of contracts to provide security screening at 32 airports in the Eastern Region of Canada, which includes airports in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward’s Island, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nunavut. Furthermore, STAS focuses on delivering integrated solutions for three business segments of the Canadian aviation industry: Airport Security (from Passenger screening and security patrols to freight x-ray services), Airline Security (from aircraft searches to document verifications) and airport security related services (from fire and safety services to parking services and catering security).

Through its network of individual national companies, Securitas Aviation’s segment gains its experience by operating in 27 countries at over 200 airports in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. It has a workforce of over 20,000 employees worldwide.
