Beginning in 1985, Ann Warner operated a sole proprietorship called, “Strategies”. Incorporated in 1999 under the name Warner McAfee Inc. (WMI), her love of strategic planning hasn’t changed. She continues to help businesses and individuals:
define where they are and where they want to be;
incorporate this information into a strategy;
implement the strategy; and,
measure the success of the implementation, and adjust the strategy as their environment shifts and changes.
This encourages the evolution of businesses and individuals based on the unique qualities embodied by them.
The alternative dispute resolution courses, described in their product section, are created by Ann Warner and John Curtis. Ann’s partnership with John began in June, 2009, after she read an article in the National Post in which John was quoted. The article was about negotiation strategies. As a result, Ann invited John to speak at a convention she was planning in Kingston that fall.
Their discussions led them to realize that combining their skill sets could produce a product superior to what they could create on their own. Their approach, while utilizing research from such authorities as the Program on Negotiation which originates from Harvard University, is fresh and dynamic.
John Curtis and Ann Warner combine their dedication to living what they teach with their enthusiasm for understanding the environment in which their participants live and work. From this foundation, they create a safe and progressive learning atmosphere.
During their courses, they facilitate on-the-spot skill development and work to ensure that participants gain a positive, enduring and life affirming experience.
